Conditions of Use
Your use of this site shall be entirely at your risk. The Canadian Paediatric Society, its officers, directors, employees or agents thereof, as well as any person associate with the creation and maintenance of this site or its contents shall not be responsible in any manner for any harm, loss or damage, however caused, arising out of your use of this site, including direct, indirect, special, third party or consequential damages. We will not be responsible for any detrimental reliance that you may place upon the site or its contents.
Availability
The Canadian Paediatric Society will attempt to make this site available for use twenty-four (24) hours per day, seven (7) days per week. The Canadian Paediatric Society will not be responsible for any damages that the user or any other persons may suffer if the site is unavailable for use.

Bulk discounts are available on some publications. You will see the available discounts as you add items to your cart.
Credit cards (VISA or MasterCard only) are the preferred method of payment accepted in the online bookstore. If you prefer to pay by cheque, please note that your order will not ship until the cheque is received by us.
Domestic orders are generally shipped within 2-3 business days and delivered by Canada Post within 7-10 business days for in-stock items. International delivery times will vary by country. Shipping charges are calculated automatically as you proceed through the checkout.
Additional charges will apply for international orders, and the CPS does not pay customs/duties charges on international shipments.
Depending on your postal code, we offer expedited, priority and Xpresspost shipping. You will be given shipping options as you proceed though the checkout.
If an item is out of stock you will be informed at checkout. If you choose to order the out of stock item, it will be backordered and you will not be charged for the item until it ships. However, if a backordered item is a part of your order, the shipping charges for that item will be applied to your original order and no additional shipping will be charged when the item is shipped.
All prices listed are in Canadian dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Canadians must pay applicable taxes. The amount is calculated automatically as you proceed through checkout. Canadian organizations that are exempt from paying GST must inform the CPS of their GST Exemption No. by emailing publications@cps.ca
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it must be returned within 30 days of receipt. All returns must be authorized in advance by emailing the CPS at publications@cps.ca. The purchaser is responsible for all shipping costs, unless an error is made by the CPS when processing the order. The CPS will also charge a restocking fee of 10 per cent of purchased price. Returned books must be received in resalable condition. Once received by the CPS office, a credit will be issued to the credit card you paid with. Returns are generally processed with 2-3 business days from the time we receive it. Please allow an additional 2-5 days for your credit card provider to apply the credit to your card.
